Invocation and Welcome- Nebraska Lt.Governor Rick Sheehy

Lt. GovernorRick Sheehy, 46, was appointed Lieutenant Governor by Nebraska’s 39th Governor, Dave Heineman, and was sworn into office on January 24, 2005. Sheehy’s selection came just days after Heineman became the first Governor in 45 years to become the state’s chief executive by operation of state law when then-Governor Mike Johanns resigned to become the Secretary of Agriculture.

Sheehy has a long history of public service. He was twice elected Mayor of Hastings beginning in 2000. Before becoming Mayor, Sheehy served six years on the Hastings City Council, including four years as president of the council. He is a former chair of the Hastings Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Hastings Sertoma Club. Lt. Governor Sheehy is a past board member of the Nebraska Rural Health Association, Hastings YMCA, and the local Housing Authority Board, as well as past member of the National League of Cities Public Safety Crime Prevention Committee and a FEMA Disaster Response Team member.

Tentative Special Guest - Action Film Star and Kick Boxing Legend - Don "The Dragon" WilsonDon

Don "The Dragon" Wilson is considered by many to be the greatest kick-boxing champion in the sport's history. A native of Central Florida, Cocoa Beach, Wilson had his first pro bout in 1974. In a career which spanned 4 decades, he won 11 world kick-boxing championships, ( was listed in the Guiness Book of World Records for the most World Championships in Kickboxing) among them the WKA, STAR, WKC, PKO Lightheavyweight World Championships, WKA, STAR, ISKA, and IKF World Cruiserweight Titles, and the WKA and STAR Super-Lightheavyweight World Championships. He posted a record of 72-5-2 with 48 wins by knockout. Wilson defeated such world champions as Dennis Alexio (undefeated at the time), Oaktree Edwards (PKA Heavyweight Champion), Maurice Smith (UFC Champion and WKA Heavyweight Champion), Branco Cikatic (first K-1 Champion), and James Waring (IBF Boxing Champion and WKA Kickboxing Champion). He retired from the sport in 1990, but launched a comeback on May 14, 1999. Since his return he has knocked-out Dick Kimber ( Viewers Choice PPV) and defeated Dewey Cooper in a 10 round decision at the MGM in Las Vegas televised on ESPN and Canal Plus in Europe. His last bout was in 2002 at the Atlantic City Tropicana which he won by KO in the 10th round against Eddie Butcher. The "Dragon" has announced the UFC, King of the Cage, and numerous kickboxing shows televised on ESPN, Showtime, NBC Sportsworld, PPV, etc. Since he was a collegiate wrestler before kickboxing, the new Mixed Martial Arts Sport is a natural for him. He has starred in 27 Hollywood martial arts action films with 4 HBO World Premieres and, most recently, a SCI-FI Channel Premiere May 12, 2007, "The Last Sentinel". He has received producer credits on 14 of his films, but has worked actively behind the scenes with script, casting, editing, (et.al) to insure the best quality possible for his films. Louis Velazquez (AKA Falcon Coperis) grew up in the Bronx, New York until the age of 13 when his family relocated to the borough of Queens, New York. This is where his journey into martial arts and professional wrestling and entertainment began. In 1984 Velazquez began his martial arts training with Louis Rebollo of Rebollo Martial Arts. He trained with him religiously until Rebollo's death in 1991. Additionally, in 1988 Velazquez began to train as a professional wrestler under the tutelage of Bobby Boldeagle. From 1995 until 1998 he wrestled for Ultimate Championship Wrestling where he wrestled with Bruce Hart, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, Chris Chavis "Tatanka", Marty Jannetty, King Kong Bundy, Bam Bam Bigelow, Tiger Khan, Tommy Cairo, Teddy Reade, and some of the last matches that were being arranged but never came to fruition included top names such as The Ultimate Warrior and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Bruce Hart added the missing element in the UCW organization which helped elevate the young talent to new heights, including Falcon Coperis, Marlon Kalkai aka "Tiger Khan","Ironman" Tommy Cairo from Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) fame and many others. He was the driving force within Stampede Wrestling and continues to be one of the most outspoken personalities in Falcon Coperis held the Ultimate Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Championship title until the year 1997 when we was defeated by Chris Chavis "Tatanka" in New York, this came on the heels of being struck in the head with a crutch by his tag partner against Jim Neidhart and Chris Chavis, former partner of one time WWE Champions Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty.Velazquez is currently the host of UCW RADIO, The Next Dragon, and The Ultimate Body radio talk shows. All radio shows are directly linked to the reality television shows of the same names.
