TOURNAMENT AND EVENT CENTRAL STAFF TOURNAMENT PROMOTER/DIRECTOR MASTER JEFF HELANEY, 8TH DAN Master Helaney has been involved in the martial arts for 37 years. He holds black belts in four styles: TaeKwon-Do, Hapkido, Pent-jak Silat, and American Freestyle. He is a former Professional Karate Commission (PKC) Ohio State and National Series Promoter and International TaeKwon-Do Union (ITU) Ohio State Director. TOURNAMENT EVENT DIRECTOR MRS. MICHELE HELANEY, 2nd Dan Mrs. Helaney has been involved in the martial arts for 10 years and is a certified TaeKwon-Do instructor. She currently works as an instructor with Omaha Blue Waves Martial Arts. He work with children in the martial arts has been recognized by the World Wide Martial Arts Hall of Fame and the NE-DE-U-KAN- TAE Federation. FILM AND MEDIA DIRECTOR MR. JASON LEVERING, OMAHA FILM FESTIVAL Jason Levering is the co-founder and executive director of the Omaha Film Festival. The Omaha Film Festival started in 2005 as a way to bring international, independent films to Omaha. Jason has been responsible for hosting several events headlined by Hollywood notables such as: Shane Black (Lethal Weapon – Writer), Josh Stolberg (Good Luck Chuck- Writer), and Mike Hill (A Beautiful Mind –Editor). FLOOR STAFF – COORDINATION AND SAFETY CHIEF ARBITRATOR MASTER DAN VALIN, 7TH DAN Master Dan Valin is the current president of the Midwest Martial Arts League and the owner of the Midwest Martial Arts Academies in Eligin, Wheeling, and Mt. Prospect, IL. Master Valin is, also, the central authority for a number of academies in the Midwest. He holds rank certifications from the MMAL, the ITU, the ITF, and the USTF. FLOOR COORDINATOR MASTER SCOTT KUHFELDT, 6TH DAN MMAL OFFICAL Master Kuhfeldt has been involved in the martial arts for over 25 years. He is the program coordinator for the Wheeling Park District TaeKwon-Do program and the Training Director for the Midwest Martial Arts Academies. MASTER VICKI NEIMAN, 7TH DAN SOUTH CENTRAL TAEKWON-DO JUDGE 2 Master Vicki Neiman has been involved in the martial arts for over 27 years and is co-owner of South Central Tae Kwon Do. Master Neiman currently teaches both Tae Kwon Do and Qi Gong. She is the vice president of the Heartland Martial Arts League.
